The food was great and very authentic. The waitress was so nice and made the best recommendations - we split the dishes and got to try both Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Chicken Bulgogi with Mandu (fried dumplings). In addition, the meals are served with 6 little dishes of rice, broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi, pickles & pickled daikon. Something about the broccoli is so good, they were the first to go, haha! All dishes are listed in Korean and English. The prices are good and the portions are so big we had leftovers to take home! Plenty of parking and very casual atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to be back here!
I never heard of this place, but I drove by it and decided to try it out. I had the bibimbap and fried mandu (yaki-mandu) and they were excellent. The bibimbap had excellent flavor. This brought me back to the days when I lived in S. Korea. Highly recommend trying it out!
Amazing food! We went when it wasn't too busy. The food was more traditional and home made like. Loved the flavor and they have the best Kimchi! They have lunch specials with good portions!
I enjoyed the pork bulgogi. It was delicious. The portions are plentiful. They were busy so service was a little slow but it was more than made up for by the taste of the food. I bought my husband here for the first time and it was just as I described it to him from when I was stationed at Langley in 2010.
The lunch pork bulgogi tray was delicious. They gave us a small dish with these very tasty warm potato chunks too. Service was super friendly and quick. I’ll be back for sure
We enjoyed our experience at Sami’s Korean Restaurant and would highly recommend the beef bulgogi lunch box special—it was our favorite dish. In contrast, the jajangmyeon was served hot, with a generous portion and fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive. Please note that there is a credit card surcharge, so we recommend bringing cash!
Tried this place for the first time and will definitely be returning! Sent us right back to Korea. We got kimbap, mandu, and each of us got a different type of bibimbap (galbi, bulgolgi, and spicy pork galbi) and with the winter menu it came with a soft tofu soup. All of it and the bonchon was amazing! Authentic and made to order, so it does take a little time to get the food but it is absolutely worth the wait. And the staff was all lovely!
I went out to dinner with my kids, and they wanted to try something new. We walked in and were greeted immediately by the staff. Sat immediately after finding out how many. We tried the Mandu (fried dumplings), and these were amazing. The pastry was flaky and crisp, the filling was hot and flavorful. Definitely will return just for these. I had Beef Bulgogi which came with white rice and the meat was so tender, it had a hint of sweetness to it but paired with the complimentary banchan it was perfect. My daughter had the dolsot bibimbap with bulgogi beef she loved it, and the portion size was generous. She ended up having to take the extra home, which they put into to go containers for her at the table and bagged it up. My other kids had the fried rice which I failed to take pictures of, but both cleaned their plates. This will be a place we return to on a regular basis. Don't miss out.
